We at GgStore want our services to be as transparent as possible so there's no confusion or concern. So we've created this handy guide to help you understand where we get our games from, and how long it will take us to get them to your door.
In order to pass the savings on to you, we buy our games from the cheapest suppliers we can find. As New Zealand Distributors often sell games for more than their international counterparts, we tend to source our stock from overseas.
So what does this mean for you? How long will it take your game to arrive?
In-Stock Games - 1-3 business days:
If a game is on our shelves, we send it on the nearest business day using NZPost's standard courier service. Depending on where you live, your order could take between 1-3 working days to reach you. If you live somewhere very central like Auckland or Wellington, it is usually overnight.
Order Games - anywhere between 6-16 working days:
If a game is not on our shelves and is advertised on our website as "Order", it means that we've either just ordered it, or are about to order it from overseas. Our overseas distributors will then send us your game, which can take anywhere between 5-14 days to reach us. Once it reaches our doors, it is packed and sent to you on the same day.
If we have to wait an extended period of time to get your game due to waiting for another print or waiting for contact from a distributor, we will hold on to the order.

Pre-Order Games - anywhere between 1-16 working days after release:
Pre-Order games can only be sent to us after they have been released in the country we source them from. If the game's release date overseas is before the NZ release date, we can sometimes get the games in time to send them out so you can receive them on the day of release. However, if the release date in our distributor's country is the same as the NZ release date, we receive them 1-2 weeks later and can only send them out then.
Because we source games from all over the world, these predicted Pre-order delivery dates vary from game to game. The best way to find out if you'll get your Pre-ordered game on time is to contact us, either through email or our Facebook page so we can give you our best estimate.
We understand that it can be frustrating to wait for an order without knowing when exactly it will arrive. We can't always accurately predict when our stock will reach the country - that's out of our hands - but we can do our best to meet your needs. All our games are insured, meaning that if it gets lost in delivery, you can choose to either get a full refund; or have a replacement copy sent out immediately. And if you order a game and then decide you don't want it, we can give you a refund - so long as we haven't already sent it out. So let us know if you change your mind as soon as possible; the sooner you let us know, the more we can do for you.
